Privacy Statement

1. Introduction

This Privacy Statement applies to all websites and domains edited by ALVILA SYSTEMS, s. r. o.* (“ALVILA”, the “Editor”), except that a Privacy Statement or statement specific to a particular ALVILA software or service will apply instead of this Privacy Statement.

The Editor of ALVILA websites (the “Sites”) is committed to respecting and protecting your privacy, and wants you to feel comfortable using Sites. This Privacy Statement deals with personally-identifiable information (referred to as “data” below) that may be collected by the Sites. This policy does not apply to other entities that are not owned or controlled by the ALVILA, nor does it apply to persons that are not employees or agents of the ALVILA, or that are not under the ALVILA’s control. Visitors may access the Sites while remaining anonymous and without revealing any personal information (except as referred to below under “Cookies”). Occasionally, and in order to provide relevant, desired information concerning products or services, ALVILA may request personal information from you. ALVILA will not sell, rent or otherwise disclose your data to any third party, except as described in this Privacy Statement. ALVILA maintains all personal information as private to the best of the company’s ability. However, personal information may be disclosed under the limited circumstances described below, and by submitting your personal information, you agree that ALVILA may do so. You understand and agree that the personal information provided by you that is collected by us via the Sites is held on computers in the Czech Republic.

2. Collection of Personal Data

Registration for an account on Sites requires only a valid e-mail address and a user name that has not been chosen already. You are not required to provide any other information if you do not want to. To participate in certain activities and to obtain certain services offered on Sites, you may be asked to provide varying amounts of additional personal information. The Editor of Sites might not allow persons who are aged thirteen or younger to become members of any Site. For more information, please contact the webmaster.

Please be aware that the user name you choose, the e-mail address you provide and any other information you enter may render you personally identifiable, and may possibly be displayed on Sites intentionally (depending on choices you make during the registration process, or depending on the way in which the site is configured) or unintentionally (subsequent to a successful act of intrusion by a third party).

ALVILA may also automatically receive general information during your visit to an Site through our automatic data collection tools, which may include web beacons, cookies, embedded web links, and other commonly used information-gathering tools. These tools pick up certain standard information that your browser sends to us such as your browser type and language, access times, and the address of the website from which you arrived at an Site. They may also collect information about your IP address, clickstream behavior (i.e. the pages you view, the links you click, and other actions you take in connection with Sites) and product information. ALVILA may also use some of these automatic data collection tools in connection with certain e-mails sent from ALVILA and therefore may collect information using these tools when you open the e-mail or click on a link contained in the e-mail.

3. Use of Personal Data

Your personal information may be used to improve usability of Sites, to customize them to better meet individual needs, to respond to specific requests for information, to send promotional materials, and to make you aware of new or similar products or offerings in which you might be interested.

Efforts will be made to prevent your data being made available to third parties unless (i) provided for otherwise in this Privacy Statement; (ii) your consent is obtained, such as when you choose to opt-in or opt-out for the sharing of data; (iii) a service provided on ALVILA sites requires interaction with a third party, or is provided by a third party, such as an application service provider; (iv) pursuant to legal action or law enforcement; (v) it is found that your use of ALVILA sites violates the policy of the Site Editor, terms of service, or other usage guidelines, or if it is deemed reasonably necessary by the Site Editor to protect the Site Editor’s legal rights and/or property; or (vi) this site is purchased by a third party, in which case that third party will be able to use the data in the same manner as set forth in this policy. In the event you choose to use links displayed on Sites to visit other websites, you are advised to read the privacy policies published on those sites.

ALVILA reserves the right to send registrants e-mail communications from time to time regarding product and company updates, technical or administrative issues, legal notices, promotional offers or other important information about Sites and products and service considered valuable or essential to your continued ability to use them properly. ALVILA does not intentionally send unsolicited e-mails to anyone who has requested ALVILA not to contact him/her.

4. Editing or Deleting Your Account Information

You are provided with the ability to edit the information stored for your user account information during registration, by visiting your user account control panel. You can request your user account to be deleted; to do so, please contact the site administrator. Content or other data that you may have provided, and that is not stored within your user account, such as articles published, may continue to remain on the sites at the sites Editor’s discretion, even after your user account is deleted. When you provide personally identifiable information through a form on Sites, you have the option to opt-in to receiving communication from ALVILA. If you opt-in and change your mind at any time, you may tell the company that you do not wish to receive these messages by sending an e-mail at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. 5. Sharing of Data

ALVILA does share non-personal, non-individual information from which individuals cannot be identified and which do not relate to individuals in aggregate form with third parties for business purposes, such as consultants and advisors to the company. ALVILA will not disclose personal information to any third parties without your consent except in the following very limited circumstances.

5.1 Partners and Agents

ALVILA shares information with trusted agents who provide specific services you have requested and/or administer information offered at the Site, for example, service providers who help manage, track and respond to customer inquiries, information requests, etc. ALVILA may also share information with authorized resellers and integration partners, who may be better suited to reply directly in response to your specific inquiries about ALVILA products and services. ALVILA may also share information with authorized resellers and integration partners in order to execute joint marketing initiatives. These parties do not use or otherwise disclose any information except as authorized agents for the purpose of providing the products and services that you have requested or administering the activities on ALVILA’s behalf, or participating in joint marketing initiatives with ALVILA. Any company that ALVILA shares personally identifiable information with will have executed a confidentiality agreement, requiring that they keep all data received confidential.

5.2 Legal Requirements and Investigations

ALVILA will disclose your personal information to a third party if required to do so by law or if, in good faith, ALVILA believes that such action is necessary to: (i) comply with the law or with legal process; (ii) protect and defend the company’s rights and property or prevent fraud; (ii) protect the company against abuse, misuse or unauthorized use of ALVILA’s products or services; or (iv) protect the personal safety or property of personnel, users or the public (among other things, this means that if you provide false or deceptive registration information or attempt to pose as someone else, information about you including your computer’s IP address – may be disclosed to a third party (including the recipient of an e-mail) as part of any type of investigation into your actions.

6. Logging of IP Addresses

An IP address is a number assigned to your computer when your computer is connected to the Internet. The servers that host the Sites can automatically identify a computer by its IP address. If ALVILA, in good faith, determines that you have used the websites to menace, threaten, harass, intimidate or otherwise deceptively pose as another person, your actions will be investigated and your IP address may be disclosed to the recipient of any e-mail, their legal counsel or representatives, and law enforcement officials as part of such an investigation.

7. Cookies

A cookie is a small file stored on a user’s computer, which contains non-personally identifiable information about the user. Sites may place and use cookies in order to enhance your comfort and user experience by recognizing you when you visit the Site. Cookies may also be used to compile information about usage of the Site. This information allows Site Editor to improve the content of the Sites and to optimize the information presented based on your demonstrated areas of interest.

Advertisements may display on Sites and, if so, may set and access cookies on your computer; such cookies are subject to the privacy policy of the parties providing the advertisement. However, the parties providing the advertising do not have access to cookies placed at Sites. These parties usually use non-personally-identifiable or anonymous codes to obtain information about your visits to this site. Sites contain links to other websites. Please be aware that ALVILA is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other websites. ALVILA encourages users to be aware when they leave this website and to read the privacy statements of each website they visit that collects personal information. Although ALVILA carefully chooses the websites to link to, this Privacy Statement applies solely to information collected on ALVILA’s own websites.

9. Sale of Assets

ALVILA may transfer its database, including personal information contained therein, to a third party who acquires all or substantially all of the assets or stock of ALVILA whether by merger, acquisition, reorganization or otherwise.

10. Security

ALVILA employs industry-standard security procedures and processes to safeguard the confidentiality of users’ personal information. ALVILA, or agents and partners on behalf of ALVILA, do everything in reasonable control to protect your information. Where one of ALVILA’s partners or agents has access to or maintains sensitive personal information, the company enters into confidentiality agreements in order to ensure the privacy of such user information. Internally, access to all users’ and registrants’ personally identifiable information is restricted to those employees who need access in order to fulfill their job responsibilities. Furthermore, ALVILA employees who deal with user information are kept up to date on various security and privacy practice issues as they arise.

Finally, the servers for the Sites are stored in a physically secured, off-site facility. Beyond the physical security of your information, ALVILA also backs up servers regularly to prevent loss of data. While the goal is to safeguard users’ and members’ personal information, ALVILA cannot ensure or warrant the security of any transmission and your information is submitted at your own risk. 11. Acceptance of Privacy Statement and Notification of Changes

By using Sites, you signify your acceptance of this Privacy Statement, as amended from time to time in accordance with this paragraph. If you do not agree with the content of this Privacy Statement, please do not use this website. Changes may be made to this Privacy Statement from time to time and ALVILA reserves the right to do so. You will be notified of substantial changes to this Privacy Statement either by through the posting of a prominent announcement on the Sites, and/or by an e-mail message sent to the e-mail address you have provided and which is stored within your user settings.

As policies are subject to change at any time and without prior notice, ALVILA encourages you to check the Site whenever you might have questions or concerns. If at any point ALVILA decides to use personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, ALVILA will notify users by way of an e-mail to obtain their consent as a condition of doing so. You will still have the opportunity to elect not to have ALVILA use your information in this different manner. ALVILA will not use your information other than in accordance with the Privacy Statement under which it was collected absent permission to do otherwise.

While this Privacy Statement states standards for maintenance of data, and while efforts will be made to meet the said standards, the site Editor is not in a position to guarantee compliance with these standards. There may be factors beyond the site Editor’s control that may result in disclosure of data. Consquently, the site Editor offers no warranties or representations as regards maintenance or non-disclosure of data.
